Chelsea handed major boost in pursuit of Victor Boniface
Victor Boniface played major role last season to help Bayer Leverkusen win their first ever Bundesliga title. He scored 21 goals and picked 9 assists under Xabi Alonso. But, he has now lost his place as regular starter due to various reasons.
Boniface was made available by Leverkusen in January itself. He was looked upon by Al Nassr who were willing to pay €70 million. But, the deal failed as Saudi side agreed a deal with Aston Villa for Jhon Duran. This forced Boniface to stay at Germany.
Leverkusen are still interested to part ways with Boniface. Infact, they have made him available on discount. According to Sports Bild, Leverkusen are now ready to let Boniface leave for €50 million. This will come as a big boost for Chelsea.
Leverkusen have dropped their asking price for Victor Boniface to €50 million.
