Chelsea hold a 2-1 lead over their Danish counterparts going into the Stamford Bridge tie, and are heavy favourites to lift the European trophy in Wroclaw, having yet to falter in the competition.
For Colwill, that would just be the start of the limitless achievements he feels his side can accomplish in the years to come.
"I think it's very exciting," he told TNT Sports. "How many young players we've got, where we all know we can get to as a team.
"Training every day, seeing some of the things the players can do out there is shocking. They're all so good out there, and they show it come matchday.
"Like I said, if we can go in the right direction together, there's no limit for us."
Pushed further on where Chelsea could be in the near future, Colwill replied: "At the top, in a few years or whenever it is. We want to be at the top, pushing for everything we can."
The Blues enjoyed a strong start to Enzo Maresca's debut season as manager, largely trading blow-for-blow with leaders Liverpool in the early exchanges before a dip in form saw them fall away.
And having now recovered from a run of four defeats in five matches in all competitions, Chelsea sit fourth in the Premier League table - eyeing a return to the UEFA Champions League for the first time since 2022/23.
‘He’s got an amazing mentality’ - Colwill backs Palmer despite drought for Chelsea

Palmer will 'be back to himself in no time'
-------------------------------------------
Despite Chelsea's return to form, talisman Cole Palmer has yet to get back to his free-firing best in front of goal.
The England international has failed to chalk up a goal or assist in his last nine matches in all competitions, after registering 20 goal contributions in his 23 prior club appearances.
Colwill, though, does not think Palmer's drought will last much longer - as he pointed out the contributions still made by the forward despite his lack of direct goal involvements.
"He's an amazing player, and he's got an amazing mentality," Colwill said. "I think he knows that. I think every player goes through ups and downs.
"We have no doubt that he'll be back to himself in no time. The last few games have been tricky for him, but he's still providing us, maybe not goals and assists, but other things and finding the space and creating opportunities for the team to do well."
Asked whether these moments require teams to rally and support one another, Colwill added: "We always try to do that, we all have to push together in the same direction and that's what we've been doing from day one."
While much of Palmer's praise and worldwide attention has come from his dazzling performances on the pitch, many onlookers also admire his demeanour, and Colwill hailed how his team-mate "hasn't changed" in light of the widespread fame.
"He's just chilled, proper chilled," Colwill said. "He's a good guy, I've known him for a while now.
"He hasn't changed, no matter how big he's got. He's stayed the same, and that's the best compliment I can give him."
