The summer transfer window is set to be a busy time at Wolves, with more than just Matheus Cunha attracting interest.
Undoubtedly, the primary talking point leading up to the summer window is whether Cunha will leave Wolves.
The Old Gold inserted a release clause into Cunha’s contract, giving clubs the opportunity to skip the niceties to secure the Brazilian’s signature.
While Vitor Pereira will be concerned about the prospect of losing his star player, it’s become clear that the 25-year-old isn’t the only player at risk of leaving Wolves.

Joao Gomes attracting transfer interest ahead of summer window
Several Premier League clubs are interested in Cunha, who could depart after two standout seasons in Old Gold.
Losing the Brazil international is a possibility, as is the idea of bidding farewell to his countryman Joao Gomes.
That’s the understanding of TBR Football’s Graeme Bailey, who spoke to Molineux Newsabout those at risk of leaving Wolves in the summer.
Speaking to Bailey about Pereira’s in-form players, the transfer expert was asked if clubs could be interested in Andre given how the summer signing has settled in the Premier League.
MORE WOLVES STORIES
“No, not at all really, but his teammate Joao Gomes is a different situation,” Bailey said, playing down talk of a premature exit for Andre.
Gomes hasn’t looked back since joining Wolves from Pereira’s Flamengo in January 2023 but, other clubs have also noticed the Brazilian’s rise.
“He’s got a lot of clubs that like him, he’s impressed hugely, we’ve seen Tottenham linked previously, I think there’s a handful of Premier League rivals who would gladly take him.
“I think Joao Gomes would be an interesting one to watch. Could Wolves lose him [Gomes]? I think it depends on who else goes but he’s getting a lot of interest from across Europe as well.
“In terms of the two of them, it would be Gomes going over Andre, I’ve got no doubt about that.”
Vitor Pereira won’t let Gomes leave easily
There’s a positive and a negative from the update, as Andre looks set to stay but, Gomes could be lured away.
That being said, it’s not something that Pereira in particular would let happen without a fight, given how much success the manager is getting from Andre and Gomes’ partnership.

Bailey touched on such, insisting that the boss is ‘happy’ with his midfield set-up at present.
“Vitor Pereira is quite happy with the midfield, Gomes and Andre are looking very good as a partnership at the moment.”
Signed for only £15m from Flamengo, Gomes is one of Wolves’ best signings in history, with the midfielder’s brilliance set to land the Old Gold a considerable profit when the time does come for him to move on.
