Everton could issue a real blow to Arne Slot’s transfer plans at Liverpool over the summer window.
Injuries have plagued Everton’s front line this season, with the likes of Youssef Chermiti and Armando Broja missing a lot of game time.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin still has not signed a new Everton contract, with the striker looking set to leave at the end of the season.
For the Friedkins, adding more quality players over the summer is going to be crucial as they move into Bramley-Moore Dock.
Everton are going to have a stadium which a lot of the Premier League sides will envy, but they currently do not have the squad to match.
David Moyes wanted Everton to sign a new forward during the January transfer window.
With funds now expected to be available for the Blues this summer, Everton are looking to rival Liverpool for one truly exciting attacker.

The exciting forward is a player who has caught the eye of many sides across Europe.
And according to GiveMeSport, Liverpool are one of the clubs who are eyeing a summer move for the French attacker.
It is believed that Arne Slot is eyeing the 21-year-old as a potential replacement for Mohamed Salah as his contract situation rumbles on.
There is one major concern for Everton, though, with the player only said to be open to a Premier League move if it is to a top club.
Although the Friedkins will want Everton to be battling their city rivals over the coming years, there is still some ground to make up.
Cherki has an £18.6m release clause in his Lyon contract, which could prove really inviting to sides from the Premier League.
Imagine Rayan Cherki at Bramley-Moore Dock
The Friedkins want a big signing this summer to welcome Everton into their new stadium.
There has been some suggestion that Richarlison is on Everton’s radar for the summer in what would be a real blockbuster move.
However, Cherki could be an opportunity which would provide some real excitement to the club.
Having a player of Cherki’s quality replacing the likes of Jesper Lindstrom and Jack Harrison at right-wing would be a huge upgrade.

Cherki has been described as a really exciting young talent by Eurosport journalist Martin Mosnier.
“Cherki is an exceptional dribbler, one of the first things one notices when watching him is that he appears to be ambipedal, as he can seemingly utilise both feet equally well,” he told TNT Sports.
“His strengths are as follows: key passes, dribbling and his ability to create something out of nothing.
