Lauren Sanchez has shared her excitement at the upcoming Blue Origins space flight by sharing a behind-the-scenes montage video with her fans.

Lauren, 55, is planning to head into space on a Blue Origin rocket this spring alongside an all-female crew that will include pop star Katy Perry and CBS host Gayle King.

The crew also includes former NASA rocket scientist Aisha Bowe, bioastronautics research scientist Amanda Nguyen and film producer Kerianne Flynn.

The short clip, which was posted on Instagram on Thursday morning, features footage of the rocket as well as a photo of Lauren standing in front of it with fiancé Jeff Bezos.

It also includes video footage of a helicopter as well as mother-of-three Lauren posing with various members of the team who are working behind-the-scenes to make the trip happen.

The brunette captioned the post: 'I have watched @BlueOrigin launches from the ground and filmed them from the sky.

'Still can't believe I'm actually going to have the opportunity to go up next and fly with the most amazing crew. #takingupspace,' she added.

Lauren's 872,000 followers were quick to comment on the video as one person wrote: 'This is amazing.'

Another said, 'Inspiring and history making,' and a third person commented: 'What an awesome moment. Enjoy it Lauren.'

A fourth person gushed: 'What I love most about this is it's inspiring women to do something that is often left off the list - BE COURAGEOUS, in whatever space/aspect of our lives is challenging us.

'Getting in a space-ship is not for the faint of heart and you/your crew doing it!!' they added.

Lauren's video comes just hours after she shared a sentimental post on her Instagram Story about living life in 'a loud, brave way.'

The quote was taken from Chelsea Handler's memoir, I'll Have What She's Having, and reads: 'I want to be sitting on my deathbed knowing that I went for it.

'I'm going to get sick and die at some point, and I would like in that moment to smile at the life I lived.

'That I had guts. That I had standards. That I loved people intensely. That I lived in a loud, brave way.'

Last Friday, Lauren gave fans a glimpse of her very first video call with her Blue Origin crew when she posted it on Instagram.

On Wednesday, Lauren shared a quote by Chelsea Handler which spoke about living life in 'a loud, brave way'

The New Shepard Mission NS-31 crew, including Gayle King and Katy Perry, was revealed on February 27

Before jumping on the call, Lauren spoke to camera and said: 'I really believe that all of these women are storytellers, they're going to come back and be able to share that story, and also inspire a new generation of explorers.'

The video then cut to Lauren welcoming the crew on a video call.

'I just kind of want everyone to take a deep breath and soak this all in for a second. Today, you guys, we're a crew.'

'Wow, I just got chills when you said "my crew,"' Amanda replied, as Gayle added: 'I know,' before she admitted to being a 'nervous Nellie.'

'We are pioneers. We're trailblazing this path to space for future generations,' Kerianne then said as Lauren claimed: 'We're all going to come back with this profound love of Earth.

'And we're going to be able to share that with the world, and hopefully touch everyone in a small way, that they'll want to help save the planet.'

So far, 52 people have experienced traveling 62 miles above earth to the Kármán line, which is recognized as the spot that separates the planet's atmosphere from space.

Previous New Shepard passengers include actor William Shatner and Jeff, who is the founder of both Blue Origin and Amazon.
