Wolves will travel south to take on Southampton in their next Premier League match. The Old Gold will fancy their chances of taking all three points.
Irrespective of their 17th place position, Vitor Pereira’s Old Gold are the strong favourites to win due to how poor the Saints have been this season.
However, despite the odds being stacked against them, and their top-flight fate virtually sealed, Southampton have received some good news ahead of the clash.

Ivan Juric expecting Southampton defender to return
Ivan Juric has confirmed Jan Bednarek will be fit enough to return against Wolves on Saturday.
The 28-year-old collided with team mate Ryan Manning and was forced off after just 20 minutes during the Saints’ 3-1 defeat to Liverpool last weekend.
Southampton’s physios exercised caution due to possible concussion and followed protocols, which include two days’ rest.

Speaking to Daily Echo ahead of Game Week 28, Juric said: “They told me there is a six-day rule but he will be ready for the next game. They told me immediately that he had to go off. We will see how he is. I thought Armel Bella-Kotchap did well again.”
Bednarek has featured in 23 league matches this season and remains a key player for the Saints.
Wolves still the better side
Even though Bednarek’s return will boost Southampton’s chances of taking something from the game, Wolves should still feel they’re the better team.
Matheus Cunha is still suspended, and although Pereira has recently welcomed Hwang Hee-chan back, emphasis will be on Jean-Ricner Bellegarde, who won February’s ‘Player of the Month’ to step up once again.
Victory on the south coast for Wolves could widen the gap at the bottom of the table to nine points, with Ipswich Town facing Nuno Espirito Santo’s top-four-chasing Nottingham Forest on Saturday and Leicester City hosting Manchester United the next day.
