Graham Potter has confirmed that Niclas Fullkrug is unlikely to be fit enough to face Everton at Goodison Park this weekend.
Although the German international has returned to training, Potter believes it is too early in his recovery to consider him a possibility for selection this weekend.
And it is much the same story for winger Crysencio Summerville, who Potter is hoping he'll see more of after the forthcoming international break.
"Fullkrug has been training with the group but he's still not ready to start," said Potter, addressing the media during his pre-match press conference on Thursday morning.
"It's more after the international break for him.
"Summerville is the other side of the international break. "It's fair for the individual to treat their diagnosis privately and he won't be back until after the international break."
On a more optimistic note, Potter confirmed rumours that Michail Antonio could make his return to first team action before the end of the season - just a matter of months after he was seriously injured in a car accident.
However he insisted that it was not possible to confirm either way, just yet. "It's too early to say if Antonio will be back before the end of the season," he said.
