Leeds United’s attention switches quite quickly to Loftus Road this Saturday as Daniel Farke looks to get back-to-back victories under their belt.
Defeat to Portsmouth ramped up the promotion race pressure for Daniel Farke and his side coming into this week, but they were handed a boost when seeing all of their top four rivals draw 1-1 on Tuesday.
Leeds’ response was a 2-0 win at home to Millwall to move back top of the league with a four-point cushion over Burnley in third.

Leeds team news pre-QPR: Rothwell update
From the moment the full-time whistle blew on Wednesday night, Leeds’ focus shifted quickly to preparing for a trip to QPR, looking for revenge from last season’s gutting 4-0 defeat.
Farke previewed the game in his pre-match press conference on Thursday, in which he delivered the latest team news from the squad, with Joe Rothwell limping off with knee trouble late on against Millwall.
However, Farke has revealed that Rothwell has “no injury concern” and there are no fresh worries for the trip to West London.

Isaac Schmidt, called into Switzerland’s squad for the international break, was struggling with illness but has now come back into team training and could be available.
As for existing injuries, Patrick Bamford is continuing to recover in full training, while Ethan Ampadu and Max Wöber are also rehabilitating from their knee injuries.
Rotation needed for Leeds trip to QPR in midfield and attack
It’s quite obvious after a Wednesday night game where Leeds had to graft and battle for their 2-0 win, it’s obvious that changes are required.
Rothwell’s chances of starting another game appear slim after Farke’s comments on his knee pain, so Ilia Gruev is expected to take his place, you would imagine.
Dan James and Manor Solomon looked physically spent at times too and it might be worth them two being rested.
Whether Farke actually rests these two players is another debate, though, as he’s historically not been too keen.
