**Sepp van den Berg looks likely to return for Brentford against Bournemouth on Saturday.**
The defender, 23, has been out for a month, having [**suffered a knee injury against West Ham.**](https://www.westlondonsport.com/brentford/van-den-berg-out-for-weeks-instead-of-months)
But he is back in training and boss Thomas Frank has indicated that he will feature against the Cherries.
Frank said: “Sepp trained the whole week so there’s a good chance he will be involved in the team.”
However, Fabio Carvalho, who recently had surgery on a dislocated shoulder, remains sidelined.
“That’s a longer one. A quick and good recovery could keep the return-to-play time down,” Frank explained.
“It’s his right shoulder. The surgery was good, and the rehab is on track, but it’s only been a week.”
Aaron Hickey recently [**returned to action**](https://www.westlondonsport.com/brentford/hickey-returns-to-action-in-under-21-game) after a long absence, featuring in an Under-21 match, but is not yet being considered for first-team selection, while Rico Henry is training again but is also not ready.
And Michael Kayode is unlikely to be in the squad this weekend after picking up a minor knee injury.
