Everton host West Ham United on Saturday at Goodison Park with the hope of further extending their unbeaten Premier League run.
In what could be described as the David Moyes derby, Everton welcome West Ham for a final time at Goodison Park on Saturday.
Moyes, Everton’s beloved manager, was also the Hammers boss in two different spells and guided the East London side to UEFA Conference League success in 2023. Now back at Everton, his side will be looking to grab all three points against the Irons.
The Toffees have lost just one game since Moyes took over the reins at Goodison Park, accumulating 16 points out of a possible 27. On the other hand, the Irons have won three games, drew one and lost four under new manager Graham Potter.

MORE TOFFEES STORIES
West Ham are sitting on same points but in 16th place because of their -16 goal difference. The clash could see one of the teams jump three points ahead of their rivals and further distance themselves from the drop zone. Both the sides are currently 16 points away from the drop zone.

Everton’s next fixtures
The Toffees have drawn their last three games against Wolves, Brentford and Manchester United and will be eyeing a win to keep the tempo up. Meanwhile, West Ham were handed a 1-0 defeat at home to Newcastle United in the previous game.
Everton team news vs West Ham
Everton will remain without Dominic Calvert-Lewin, who picked up a thigh injury in January. However, his absence has somewhat gone unnoticed as Beto has been highly impactful in Calvert-Lewin’s absence.
The Toffees will also be without wide players Iliman Ndiaye and Dwight McNeil as both recuperate from a knee injury.
On loan striker Armando Broja has started light training but will only be available after the international break. Another loan signing, Orel Mangala, remains sidelined with a long-term injury.
Everton vs West Ham* *predicted lineups
Moyes is expected to make one change from his lineup at Wolves, bringing in Carlos Alcaraz for midfielder Abdoulaye Doucoure. The Argentine has looked impressive when he’s on the pitch and has added an extra dimension to the attack.
Everton: Pickford, O’Brien, Tarkowski, Branthwaite, Mykolenko, Gueye, Garner, Lindstrom, Alcaraz, Harrison, Beto
West Ham: Areola, Todibo, Kilman, Cresswell, Wan-Bissaka, Soucek, Ward-Prowse, Paqueta, Scales, Bowen, Ferguson
Everton vs West Ham head to head
This fixture at the London stadium earlier this season yielded a 0-0 draw. The last time these sides faced each other at Goodison Park, West Ham emerged victorious, defeating Sean Dyche’s Everton 3-1.
In the last 10 fixtures against the Irons, the Toffees have won four of them, lost five and drawn one. Out of last four trips to Goodison Park, the Hammers have walked with all three points on three occasions, making it a happy hunting ground for them.
Prediction: Everton 2-1 West Ham
Everton should win the match against West Ham, given that they are in better shape at the moment. The Merseysiders are on an eight-game unbeaten run in the league and the Hammers do not have momentum on their side.
Potter’s side has deficiencies that Everton can exploit and take all three points to keep up their good form.
