U18s preview: Arsenal v Leicester City

Our under-18s will be back at Sobha Realty Training Centre on Saturday, March 15 to take on Leicester City in the U18 Premier League South. Kick-off is scheduled for 11:30am (UK time).

Adam Birchall’s young Gunners got back to winning ways last time out, producing a fantastic performance to beat Chelsea 3 - 2 at Cobham in a London derby.

Victory on Saturday afternoon could take us as high as fifth in the league table, having played at least three games less than those ahead of us.

### The Opposition

Like us, Leicester City have 22 points in the U18 Premier League South this season, but from 18 games to our 15.

The Foxes are in their best form of the season, winning three and drawing one of their last four matches.

Our defence will have to be on top form to stop this weekend’s opponents, who have scored 16 times in their four-match unbeaten run.

Leicester’s main danger man is striker Lorenz Hutchinson, who has scored nine times at under-18s level this season, including a hat-trick in a 6 - 3 win over West Ham United last time out.
