The Tottenham winger is currently on loan in the Championship and impressing for Leeds United.
Tottenham Hotspur have several players who could see themselves leaving North London in the summer transfer window as they will sell a couple of players to fund their own transfer business.
Spurs have already reportedly made a decision to not make Timo Werner a permanent player at the club after what has been a disappointing spell with Tottenham for the German attacker.
However, he might not be the only player who departs Tottenham this summer, as one of their wingers has been linked with Premier League rivals.
Everton want Manor Solomon
Spurs winger Manor Solomon is currently on loan at Championship side Leeds United, who are chasing promotion back to the Premier League this year. Solomon has made 32 appearances for Leeds in all competitions for Daniel Farke’s side, scoring seven goals and providing eight assists. He has become a regular in Leeds’ starting XI due to his performances.
They are reportedly keen to make him a permanent Leeds player in the summer transfer window, but according to new reports, they have competition from Everton to sign the 25-year-old.
According to TeamTalk, Everton have been scouting Solomon since December, and are keeping a close eye on his performances. Everton players Jesper Lindstrom and Jack Harrison are on loan at the club, and it is understood that even if they make one of them permanent, they are looking to sign another winger in the summer.
The report says that Tottenham could accept a £10m bid for Solomon, however, they want a figure closer to £20m for the 25-year-old. Solomon joined Tottenham in July 2023 on a free transfer and has made just six appearances for the club since then. It means Spurs can make a profit on the player even if he leaves for £10m.
£25m Premier League winger could replace Solomon at Spurs
Tottenham are expected to make several signings in the summer transfer window due to their favourable position regarding Profit and Sustainability Rules.
If they do sell Solomon, they could use the funds to acquire a winger they have reportedly been interested in for several months. Southampton winger Tyler Dibling has emerged as a target for Tottenham after he has been a bright spark in what’s been a poor season for the Saints this year.
Dibling, 19, has made 24 Premier League appearances for Southampton this season, scoring two goals. He is expected to cost around £25 million, and a transfer would be more likely assuming that the Saints face relegation to the Championship. The 19-year-old fits the mould of a Spurs signing, as a player with potential to improve, much like Lucas Bergvall and Archie Gray, who have emerged under Ange Postecoglou this season.
