Duke freshman star Cooper Flagg suffered a significant injury Thursday during the Blue Devils' first game of the postseason in the ACC Tournament against Georgia Tech.

With 2:46 left in the first half, Flagg appeared to roll his left ankle while attempting to make a move on the court. He immediately grabbed his ankle in pain and was helped off the floor by trainers.

Flagg, the frontrunner for National Player of the Year and Duke's leader in scoring, rebounding, assists, and blocks, struggled to put any weight on his left leg after the injury.

He punched a bench chair in frustration and screamed, visibly upset by the situation. Once off the court, Flagg was placed in a wheelchair with his left shoe removed and taken to the locker room for further examination.

This season, Flagg averages 19.4 points, 7.6 rebounds, and 4.2 assists per game. He also makes 1.5 steals and 1.3 blocks per game.
