West Ham United will send representatives to watch one of their targets as Rangers face Fenerbahce at Ibrox in the Europa League.

The Scottish Premiership outfit will host Jose Mourinho’s team in the second leg of the last-16, with the Hammers keeping an eye on the fixture.

Niclas Fullkrug’s move to the London Stadium has been underwhelming, with the 32-year-old suffering multiple fitness issues since his move from Borussia Dortmund.

Graham Potter hasn’t relied much on Evan Ferguson either since his loan move from Brighton in the winter transfer window, making the addition of a new number nine an evident priority next summer.

It has been claimed that the Hammers are preparing an offer for the Morocco international and will watch him in Scotland before making their final decision.

The Turkish outfit are expected to demand an astronomical fee for the centre-forward, and whether West Ham will meet their demands remains to be seen.

Potter needs En-Nesyri transfer at London Stadium

Potter has struggled at the London Stadium since returning to management, with the Hammers’ prospects bleak in the Premier League.

The English manager has failed to get a run of positive results at the Irons, but fans have definitely seen a change in performances since his arrival.

Julen Lopetegui seemed clueless at the East London outfit and produced some of the worst football supporters have seen.

Tim Steidten made a major error by signing Fullkrug last summer, and it wasn’t surprising to see the Hammers sack him recently.

Potter has had to rely on Lucas Paqueta, Jarrod Bowen and Mohammed Kudus as his number nines due to the injury issues up front.

Michail Antonio has also been unavailable at the Irons since his road accident, leaving the former Chelsea boss with a dearth of strikers.

En-Nesyri showed his qualities over the years at Sevilla before moving to Fenerbahce.

The Moroccan striker’s performances at the international level have also been eye-catching, potentially making him a decent addition at the East London outfit.
