Goals from Oleksandr Zinchenko and Declan Rice put the Gunners ahead on two occasions but PSV levelled up twice through fine finishes.

While Arsenal were held on the night, there were a number of positives and negatives for them to take from their 2-2 draw with PSV.

Positive #1: Sterling's performance

Handed a rare start, Raheem Sterling capitalised on the chance with a fine performance against PSV.

The winger provided two assists, doing really well to play the ball to Oleksandr Zinchenko ahead of the opening goal. He then put a brilliant cross into the box for Declan Rice to head in from close range.

Sterling will be disappointed not to have grabbed a goal having had a few good chances but that won't take anything away from his performance. He rose to the occasion and impressed on the wing, a huge positive for his side.

Negative #1: Some mistakes

While it didn't have much of an impact on the overall outcome of the tie, Arsenal made a few mistakes against PSV that either led to goals or good chances.

Ben White presented the ball to Couhaib Driouech, allowing the Moroccan to run through on goal. The right back got away with it however, thanks to a fine save from David Raya. Jorginho was then caught dwelling on the ball away in the build-up to the visitors' second equaliser.

As stated it didn't have an effect on the overall outcome of the tie but it was disappointing to see the Gunners make sloppy errors. It presents them something to take a look at ahead of their next game.
