Wolves have become a hotspot for welcoming some incredible Brazilian talent to Molineux, and they could add their latest addition this summer.
There are currently four Brazilian players at Wolves. Matheus Cunha is the pick of the bunch and the man who has scored 15 goals this term.
Cunha is wanted by big clubs as a result and is inarguably Vitor Pereira’s most important player. But midfielder dynamos Andre and Joao Gomes are also instrumental in the setup while right-back Pedro Lima is the future.
Wolves signed Lima from Sport Recife last summer, beating Chelsea to his signature, and the 18-year-old could be joined by another top South American prospect in 2025.

Wolves preparing £5m bid for Brazilian wonderkid Riquelme Fillipi
In recent years, Wolves have built a scouting network in Brazil by capturing Gomes, Andre and Lima, all of whom have proven to be shrewd captures.
According to Nosso Palestra, the Wanderers could raid Palmeiras for their standout U20 star Riquelme Fillipi, who has become a goalscoring machine for the youth side.
The electric winger has plundered 11 goals in nine appearances in 2025, including seven strikes on the route to the Copinha final, which Palmeiras lost 3-2 against Sao Paulo U20s.
The report claims that Wolves are preparing a £5 million bid for the 18-year-old ahead of the summer and could be joined by Nottingham Forest, who showed an interest in the wonderkid last year.

Riquelme is arguably the most promising talent emerging from the Palmeiras academy and the man who models his game off Neymar could be an incredible bargain for Wolves.
How Riquelme describes his style of play
Wolves fans perhaps wouldn’t have heard of Riquelme, although what they’ve learned of him through these links sounds promising, with his play style adding fuel to the excitement.
The Brazilian winger describes himself as ‘very fast’, strong at finishing and positionally versatile, showing his capability to play as a left winger or striker.
“I am a very fast player who likes to dribble,” Riquelme said of himself via The Athletic. “I always try to pay special attention to my finishing and, regarding positioning, I can adapt to different formations. Modern football demands this versatility. So I can play as a winger, mainly on the left side, as well as a centre-forward.”
Since Pereira likes his players to be versatile, it’s unsurprising that Wolves have been linked with someone who isn’t just able to adapt his game but is also young with huge potential.
