Yiadom, 6-1, 188, returns to New Orleans after contributing on defense and special teams for the Saints from 2022-23. He was originally a third round draft pick (99th overall) of the Denver Broncos in the 2018 NFL Draft out of Boston College. In his career, Yiadom has played in 87 games with 28 starts for Denver (2018-19), the New York Giants (2020), the Green Bay Packers (2021), the Houston Texans (2022), New Orleans (2022-23) and the San Francisco 49ers (2024). In seven seasons, he has posted career totals of 182 tackles (132 solo), one split sack, three interceptions, 32 pass breakups, three forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, 25 special teams stops and one coverage fumble recovery.
In 2024, Yiadom appeared in all 17 contests with five starts for the 49ers, finishing with a career-high 44 tackles (career-best 36 solo), one interception, six pass breakups, a career-best two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, two special teams stops and one recovery of a muffed punt. His career-best three takeaways were also a team-high.
After joining the Saints practice squad midway through the 2022 season and contributing on special teams in six contests, the Worcester, Mass. native played in all 17 games with eight starts in his second campaign with the Black and Gold in 2023. That season, Yiadom recorded 31 tackles (20 solo), one interception, a career-high 14 pass breakups (tied for ninth in the NFL) and one fumble recovery. Yiadom held down a significant role in the secondary for a defense that ranked tenth in the NFL in opponent net passing yards per game. He was also a core special teams player, finishing with six coverage stops.
