Former Germany and Liverpool midfielder Dietmar Hamann has shared his thoughts on the upcoming [Champions League tie between Barcelona and Dortmund](https://www.barcablaugranes.com/2025/3/12/24384127/barcelona-to-face-borussia-dortmund-in-champions-league-quarter-finals).
Hansi Flick’s side are favorites to progress to the last four, but Hamann thinks that Dortmund will progress instead.
The pundit claims that Flick’s famous high line will be their undoing when they come up against Dortmund
Here’s what he’s had to say.
> “They are so open at the back. And I don’t know if that will work in the long run,” he told Sky Sport.
>
> “Of course, they score a lot of goals because they have incredibly great players up front. But Dortmund know what it takes.
>
> “They showed that last year. I think they’ll be eliminated in two games.”
Barca’s famous high line has come undone at times this season but Flick’s side remain unbeaten in 2025 and beat Dortmund 3-2 in the group phase.
The first leg of the tie will be held in Barcelona on April 9th, with the return in Germany set for April 15th.
