Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United have been offered the chance to sign Bayern Munich forward Leroy Sane.
According to a report from TBR, Leroy Sane could end up making a return to the Premier League next season. His time at Bayern Munich could soon come to an end, with Arsenal, Liverpool, and Manchester United all being offered the chance to sign the German winger.
Sane made a name for himself at FC Schalke before joining Manchester City in the summer of 2016. He had a four-year-long spell at the English club before moving to Bayern in the summer of 2020.
He has been a key figure at the German club over the years, but things haven’t been that great for him of late. The 29-year-old has been involved in 34 games, but he has racked up just over 1,700 minutes. He is no longer a regular starter, and with his contract running out at the end of the season, there are question marks about his continuity.
Sane could secure a return to England
While he hasn’t ruled out the possibility of staying at the German club, it is very unlikely that he will pen a new deal. Sane could end up making a return to the Premier League as his agents have offered him to multiple top clubs in England.
Arsenal, Manchester United, and Liverpool have all been given the chance to sign the Bayern winger. With the future of Mohamed Salah uncertain, the Reds do need to strengthen their flanks, and Sane could be a great addition to their squad.
The Gunners seek more quality in the final third as they look to end their wait for the Premier League title. Sane’s experience and his abilities outwide could certainly help their cause. Even United want to strengthen their attack as Jadon Sancho, Marcus Rashford, and Antony could all end up leaving the club permanently in the summer.
Intermediaries who are working with Sane’s agents have knocked on the doors of all three clubs and it will be interesting to see if either of them do end up making a move for the 29-year-old.
