Arsenal fans have been reacting on Instagram to Oleksandr Zinchenko’s performance against PSV in the Champions League.
The Gunners drew 2-2 against PSV on Wednesday in their second leg of the round of 16 tie. They finished the tie 9-3 on aggregate after a comfortable 7-1 win in the first leg.

Arsenal now face a tough test against Real Madrid in the quarter-finals of the competition after goals came from Zinchenko and Declan Rice.
Zinchenko hasn’t been playing many minutes recently for Arsenal, but he got a chance against PSV as Mikel Arteta decided to play him in midfield. He looked rejuvenated, leaving many to think that Arsenal could play him in midfield more often.
The Ukranian posted on Instagram after the game saying: “Quarter-final, Emirates on fire as always”. Arsenal fans commented on his post as the former Man City star put in arguably his best performance of the season.
One Arsenal fan responded by saying “we want to see you perform like this against Real Madrid.” Whereas another said: “What a player!”
Zinchenko was credited with a player rating of 9/10 in our player ratings, the best of any player on the pitch.
Another Arsenal fan commented on his post by saying: “Unreal performance today Zinny”, whilst a different one said: “Zinny just told us, never stop believing!”
Zinchenko “looking forward” to Real Madrid challenge
The defender said after the PSV game that the players are looking forward to facing the challenge of Real Madrid in the quarter-finals.
He told Arsenal’s Official Website: “We should be proud of this, of course, we are looking for something bigger, but this is what we need to prove on the pitch, not by talking. I think we are in a very interesting stage of the season where obviously every game is like a final.
“Real Madrid are one of the biggest clubs in the world, they’ve won this competition 15 times, and they have a lot of world-class players and experience. But we just need to show our best performances, and we are all looking forward to these games.”
