Deputy Minister of Economy and Ambassador of Japan discuss issues of cooperation
AKIPRESS.COM - Deputy Minister of Economy and Commerce Sanjar Bolotov held a meeting with Ambassador of Japan Hideki Goda on March 12, the Ministry of Economy reported.
The parties discussed issues of grant and technical cooperation, interaction in the financial sector, the state of bilateral documents, as well as other issues of trade and economic cooperation.
Particular attention was paid to the agreement on avoiding double taxation, as well as issues of protecting and supporting investments.
Sanjar Bolotov emphasized that the Kyrgyz side is interested in the completion of the consideration of documents and their further promotion, since this contributes to strengthening the economic partnership.
The sides also discussed the participation of the Kyrgyz Republic in the upcoming EXPO, where a pavilion will be organized to showcase the country's achievements, promote culture, strengthen economic ties and attract investment.
In addition, issues of interaction within the framework of dialogue and regional platforms, including the Japan-Central Asia format, and the implementation of the national project One Village - One Product were discussed.
