**ENGLEWOOD, Colo. —** Denver has added a veteran player to its wide receiving corps.
The Broncos signed unrestricted free agent wide receiver Trent Sherfield to a two-year contract, the team announced Thursday.
Sherfield will enter his eighth season in the NFL and most recently competed with the Vikings, for whom he played all 17 games in 2024.
The 6-foot-1, 206-pound player caught eight passes for 83 yards and a touchdown a year ago as he played 16 percent of Minnesota's snaps. He also played 49 percent of the Vikings' special teams snaps.
Sherfield has also played for the Cardinals (2018-2020), 49ers (2021), Dolphins (2022) and Bills (2023). The Vanderbilt product has played at least 40 percent of his team's special teams snaps in five of the last six seasons.
His most productive season on offense came in 2022, as he caught 30 passes for 417 yards and two touchdowns for the Dolphins.
