However, entering this game against the Lakers, the Bucks saw multiple players land on the injury report. Both Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard have been named on the report and they were listed as probable.
Despite this designation, both will be available for the Bucks in this game with the Lakers.
Milwaukee needs both players to take the court if they want to take down Los Angeles. Outside of these two, the Bucks are fairly shorthanded and the role players rely heavily on the stars to produce each night.
Antetokounmpo has been playing at an MVP level this season, helping to propel the Bucks forward. The veteran has averaged 30.7 points, 12.1 rebounds, 5.9 assists, and 1.2 blocks per game.
The forward has maintained a steady flow on both ends of the court and it has given Milwaukee a strong two-way presence. Antetokounmpo has played in 52 of the Bucks' 64 games this season.
Lillard has also been very good this year for the Bucks, giving them a nice compliment to Antetokounmpo. For the season, Lillard has put up 25.3 points, 4.7 rebounds, 7.1 assists, and 1.2 steals per game.
The star guard has continued to give this Bucks team a boost. Lillard has played in 54 games for Milwaukee this season.
As long as the two-star players are healthy, Milwaukee is confident that they can compete with anyone in the NBA. The team has had some bad injury luck in the playoffs over the past few years so they are hopeful that things will be different this time around.
The Bucks are in a battle with the Indiana Pacers and Detroit Pistons for the No. 4 seed in the East. Every game is crucial at this point in the season so Milwaukee will be looking to get back into the win column against Los Angeles tonight.
