U.S. President Donald Trump has expressed his desire to reestablish the relationship that he had with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un during his first term, calling Kim a “nuclear power.” Trump made the remarks on Thursday during a meeting with North Atlantic Treaty Organization Secretary General Mark Rutte at the White House. Responding to a reporter’s question asking if he has a plan to reestablish the relationship he had with Kim under his first term, Trump said that “he would.” Trump said that he has a great relationship with Kim, and he'll see what happens, adding Kim is certainly a “nuclear power.”
Trump also said that Kim has “a lot of” nuclear weapons and India, Pakistan and other countries also have them.
