Last year, two-time Pro Bowl special teams ace Nick Bellore followed ST coordinator Larry Izzo to Washington. The 14-year vet had an outstanding year on special teams along with longtime Commander Jeremy Reaves.
While Reaves remained under contract in 2025, the 35-year-old Bellore became a free agent on Wednesday and it was unclear whether he would continue playing in Washington.
Today, that question was answered. It’s been reported by several sources that Bellore has signed a 2-year deal, though details of his contract have not yet been made public.
This bodes well for continuing strong special teams play by the Commanders.
