Josh Allen Reacts To Bills’ Free Agent Departures

The start of the 2025 offseason has been a rollercoaster of sorts for the Buffalo Bills and many of their key players.

Several of the team's young core have been given contract extensions to this point. Key free agents have been brought in. Fan favorites have also left the organization for bigger paydays.

In regard to the latter, the Bills said goodbye to fan favorite wideout Mack Hollins this week and not everyone on the roster is happy about it. The former mid-round pick signed a two-year deal worth near $9 million with the New England Patriots this week.

And league MVP Josh Allen isn't exactly thrilled with that reality.

"Super sad to see Mack go," Allen said Wednesday. "I know he was kind of a fan favorite as well as a favorite in the locker room. I'm very happy for him and what he got. Hate that he's a division rival now but it's the game that we play."

Hollins played only one season with the Bills but did not miss a single game. He caught 31 passes for 378 yards and five touchdowns.

The writing was on the wall for Hollins when the Bills signed Joshua Palmer to a free agent contract. He will join Keon Coleman and Khalil Shakir as the starting trio for Buffalo to kickstart their passing attack in 2025.

While Hollins ended up going to a place where he could make an immediate and consistent impact at this point, the fact it's to a division rival certainly isn't something the team's quarterback likes to see.
