With the summer transfer window approaching, Manchester Unitedare looking to outmaneuver PSG in the race for one of Portugal’s top young talents.
According toFoot Mercato, PSG, Manchester City, and United are all tracking 17-year-old Geovany Quenda from Sporting Lisbon.
United’s interest is especially noteworthy, as new manager Ruben Amorim previously coached Sporting and is eager to reunite with Quenda.The Athletic recently reported that Amorimhas pushed United to make a serious move for the teenager this summer.
Quendais expected to cost around €40 million (£33.4 million), and United’s new leadership seems determined to win the battle against PSG for the highly rated prospect.

Fabrizio Romano reported Friday that Chelseahave reached an agreement to sign Quenda and edging out the competition for the teenager.
The young talent has already completed his medical after a secret trip andis set to join the club in 2026. Chelsea finalized the deal with Sporting, and Quenda hasgiven his approval to the club’s project and Enzo Maresca’s plans.

Romano didn’t reveal the transfer fee, but it will be interesting to see if the Blues paid the release clause for the player or ifanother fee was paid for him.
