What makes this transfer saga so unique is that even a couple of days ago, a reputed Portuguese outlet like A Bola claimed that Man Utd had all but secured the signing of their £50.3million target and that he was ‘reserved’ for a move to Old Trafford.
Ruben Amorim was the manager who gave Quenda a chance at a very young age in the Portuguese league and everyone assumed that the tactician would look to bring the Portuguese prodigy to his team and add him to the project.
Quenda is a versatile winger who has predominantly played as a wing-back in Portugal. He ranks among the very best in terms of numbers, at least in his age group and has the potential to get even better going forward.
