Bruno Fernandes put in a 10/10 performance on Thursday night for Manchester United.
It came as the Red Devils thrashed Real Sociedad 4-1 in front of a loud Old Trafford crowd which was treated to pyro prior to kick-off.
The big win sees Manchester United retain an unbeaten record in Europe, securing a spot in the quarter-finals of the Europa League against Lyon.
Ruben Amorim has Bruno Fernandes to thank for this, as his captain scored three goals in a performance which the No.8 can add to his highlight reel.
After the game, Amorim indicated that the United squad needs to do better for Fernandes as he deserves to win titles.
This is true, and fans should dread to think about where we would be without Fernandes. Against Sociedad, he smashed two records.

It is Amorim’s first penalty goal scored in the Europa League in four years which is quite shocking.
This was not the only record Fernandes broke, as his hat-trick now sees him have 24 goals and 17 assists in the Europa League which is more than any player in the history of the competition.
These are two impressive stats, which show how pivotal Fernandes has been in his five years at the club in which he has made 276 appearances, scoring 94 and assisting 79.
With this record and his continued importance for the club, Fernandes is becoming a club icon, with some more silverware the only thing stopping him from going on to become a club great.
Wes Brown backs Bruno Fernandes after sensational performance
After Fernandes’ record-breaking night at Old Trafford, he had Wes Brown singing his praises on MUTV.
“From outside, he takes a lot of stick as well, but he doesn’t listen to any of that. He just gets on with it. He understands that the team is in a bit of a transition period.
“We’ve not been performing to the highest standard, but he has, or he’s tried to.
“Every possible minute he’s running round the pitch, he will try and make something happen and try and score. Obviously deadly at penalties, and free kicks.
“Pretty much does everything, I mean his last goal, the way sprints forward, doesn’t necessarily have to do that he does do that he’s got the energy to do it, he wants to do it.”
Brown’s praise of Fernandes makes some great points, as the United midfielder is so important to the team and everything good usually comes through him.
