Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors won 130-104 Thursday night against the Sacramento Kings to mark six wins in a row. In a game where the Warriors saw eight players score in double figures, Draymond Green led all scorers with 23 points on 57.1% shooting with four threes.
However, the spotlight was on Curry in San Francisco as he became the first player in NBA history to record 4,000 career three-pointers. Breaking records is nothing new to the 11-time All-Star who is already the All-Time Leader in three-point field goals made.
While Curry is praised constantly by his NBA peers, one message of congratulations stands out above others after the incredible feat.
21-time All-Star LeBron James congratulated his former gold medal-winning teammate via X.
"4K from Trey is CRAZY!!!!!" exclaimed James. "Congrats my brother!! That's [fire]."

James, the NBA's All-Time leading scorer, has shown continuous praise for his friend and foe throughout their careers. These two along with 15-time All-Star Kevin Durant have been nicknamed "The OG's" for their incredible longevity stretching into today's NBA.
While the Warriors have been surging ever since the trade to acquire six-time All-Star Jimmy Butler (13-1 with Butler in the lineup), Curry has had one of the lowest-producing years of his career. The two-time MVP is averaging 24.5 points per game which is the lowest in a season where he played more than five games since 2015.
Curry is also averaging 39.8% from the three-point line, which would mark the first time in his 16-year career that he shot under 40% when he played more than five games.
