Rangers have shown they can mix it with Europe's elite, and the Europa League run comes with more than just plaudits.
The competition offers big financial rewards for clubs, and after booking their spot in the quarter-finals Rangers have now secured another bumper payday - as a big-money American takeover edges closer to completion.

Whilst the 49ers deal has supporters dreaming of some huge names to overtake runaway Premiership leaders Celtic, the European form has already earned more than a pretty penny.
Under Philippe Clement, Rangers saved their best form for Thursday nights under the lights, and that has been somewhat of a trend in recent seasons.
This season away trips have yielded wins against Malmo and Nice, a draw with Greek big guns Olympiacos and a heart-breaking late loss against Manchester United. Despite Cyriel Dessers' best efforts.
At home meanwhile a heavy defeat to Lyon was quickly flushed out of the system thanks to a rout against FCSB, whilst only getting a point at home to Spurs will have been a major frustration after a dominant 90 minutes.
Despite cruising most of the game, a late USG goal and results elsewhere made the final league stage game a nerve-shredder - but Rangers did enough to bypass any playoff concerns, banking themselves a nice bonus and setting up the Fenerbahce clash.
Record Sport has crunched all the major numbers, so you don't have to.

How much has Rangers' Europa League run earned them?
The Europa League memories keep coming as Barry Ferguson's men banish their domestic woes. And they come with a very tasty financial bonus.
Victory against Fenerbahce booked the Light Blues spot in the quarter-finals, but also secured a bumper £2.11m cash bonus that could prove a handy boost in the quest to close the gap to Premiership champions elect Celtic.
The Ibrox side had already collected a chunky sum from UEFA for their final finishing position of eighth during the league phase.

Each position in the table was worth £63.4k, meaning the club that finishes 36th earned that figure with an additional £63.4k added for every position higher - and the high-flying Gers netted a tasty £1.775m
After making it automatically into the last 16, Rangers earned an additional £1.47m as well as £252,800 add-on for being in the top eight, meaning that the league stage campaign in total earned the Ibrox club more than £5m in bonus money. And this is added to the £3.64m earned just for making it into the main competition. Total that up, and you've got an impressive figure of £11.015m - without including ticket sales from five sold-out home matches and the guarantee of at least one more in the quarter-finals.
