Everton are writing a new chapter following the Friedkins’ takeover in December, with a much brighter future on the horizon.
It has been quite the turnaround on Merseyside, which has seen Everton’s relegation fears become something of the distant past.
David Moyes has played a huge role in steadying the ship, as Everton fans can now look forward to what is going to be an interesting summer.
Everton will need to spend in the summer transfer window, with improvements needed to bolster the squad for the new campaign.
The Friedkin Group are not going to settle for another season of battling the drop.
And it is apparent that Jarrad Branthwaite has much bigger aspirations for his career than constant relegation fights.

Everton’s Jarrad Branthwaite shares aspirations for his future
Earlier in the week, Branthwaite said he wants to become Everton captain in the future, which will have delighted fans at Goodison Park.
This comes amid suggestions the defender could be set for a summer of transfer speculation.
MORE EVERTON STORIES
However, concerns over his future on Merseyside may have spiked again after his recent interview with BBC Sport.
Speaking about his future, the 23-year-old admitted that his career has to be all about winning trophies – something which Everton have struggled with of late.
“It is about winning as many trophies as possible throughout your career,” said Branthwaite.
“A career is short so you need to make the most of it and give yourself the best possible chance to pick up trophies.

“To be fighting for trophies is something that would be one of the main ambitions for every player and come the end of the career, have as many trophies as possible.”
Everton want to hand Branthwaite a new contract, but this latest message may fill some fans with concerns he has his eye on a move elsewhere.
The reality is Everton are not yet in a position to be challenging for silverware, and that appears to be something that may bother the centre-back.
It has now been 30 years since Everton picked up their last piece of silverware and they did not come close to ending that drought this season.
Branthwaite may have to leave Everton to win trophies
Under the Friedkins, things are looking much more positive for the Toffees who already look a much stronger outfit than they did under Sean Dyche.
But bridging the cap to competing for trophies still feels a long way off.
Branthwaite has interest from the likes of Real Madrid, which would almost guarantee the defender of winning silverware.
After his comments about becoming Everton captain in the future, fans may have been provided with some confidence over his long-term future on Merseyside.
However, these latest quotes may well fill some fans with concern that Branthwaite may welcome the prospect of a move to get his hands on silverware.
