There are riders who prefer to keep the way they train between races a secret, like Marco Bezzecchi. Then there are others, like Marc Marquez, who aren't afraid of showing themselves at work in the gym or "worse", on a motocross bike, despite the dangers involved, so they can continue to maintain speed and not risk losing their pace when they're not racing.

But, appearing in the MotoGP paddock at Termas de Rio Hondo sporting an Argentine national soccer team jersey with the #93 on his back, the Spanish rider made it clear that he's no longer as wild as before. "I still do motocross, but less than before. It's been raining a lot lately, and I'm more cautious because of the fractures," he explained to AS.

He recently also briefly rode a Panigale V2 on the Aspar Martinez circuit and, like him, many MotoGP riders have ridden as privateers. However, woe betide to speak of chronometric feedback. "Times are relative and related to the tires and the type of bike you're riding," he cut to the chase.

Instead, about the tribute, the 32-year-old revealed: "The jersey was given to me by Ducati Argentina." Then, the eight-time world champion enigmatically joked about the outcome of the Champions League match between Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid, which was decided in favor of the team coached by Carlo Ancelotti, regarding the much-disputed cancellation of the penalty kick by Julian Alvarez, due to a double touch detected by the VAR. "I really hope the finale isn't going to be Real - Barcelona," he concluded.
