Ruben Amorim is in a really do or die situation for Manchester United at the moment as he is looking forward to facing Real Sociedad.
It is high time:
If Manchester United loses this match, then there will be really bad problems for the Reds to be honest. Manchester United have already been looking forward to signing new players. However, the problem is that the team is already in a bad state right now. The Reds are already sitting at 14th in the Premier League as well. Manchester United are way too closet to relegation than to actual top 5 instead. The Reds needs to sign good players. However, their form is not really tempting any high profile players to sign for them at all. Manchester United will not really qualify for any European competition for next season as well. Their only hope left at the moment is the Europa League right now.

Do or Die for Manchester United:
If Manchester United wins the Europa League then the prize money will be very helpful for Manchester United as well. If they want to sign players who are high profile then they really need to qualify for at least one European Competition. The Europa League is the only hope they have left right now. This is the only way their team can gain confidence and finally win a trophy for this season as well.
Author’s Opinion:
I think Amorim is correct. This is the only hope for Manchester United. He is a really good coach. He cares about the payers. However, he is really strict and does not really take any form of nonsense. He only starts player who are actually performing well in training. Amorim only lets the players play according to the needs of the team. Jim Ratcliffe also supports Ruben Amorim’s plans as well.
