Arsenal teenager Myles Lewis-Skelly has continued his remarkable rise by being named in Thomas Tuchel’s first England squad.
Lewis-Skelly, who is 18 and only made his debut for Arsenal in September, has been named in England’s senior squad for their World Cup qualifiers against Albania and Latvia later this month.
The left-back will reportedly be joined in the squad by Newcastle defender Dan Burn, who has also received a first call-up.
Marcus Rashford has also reportedly earned a recall and could make his first appearance for England in a year.
The forward has had an upturn in form since leaving Manchester United in January to join Aston Villa on loan.
Lewis-Skelly’s call-up is reward for his brilliant season at Arsenal, where he has established himself as arguably Mikel Arteta’s best left-back.
