Marcus Rashford set for stunning England recall with Jack Grealish missing out

Marcus Rashford is set for a stunning return to the England set-up.

Rashford looked one million miles away from Thomas Tuchel's plans at the start of the year when he was frozen out of Ruben Amorim's Manchester United. However, he's started to find his best form after a loan move to Aston Villa.

According to The Athletic, Rashford is now set to make a return to the fold after a 12 month absence. Tuchel will make his first squad announcement on Friday (March 14).

Rashford has won 60 caps for England, scoring 17 times. Since representing England at the 2016 Euros.

And he had not missed a major tournament for his country until he was left out of Gareth Southgate’s squad for the Euros last summer.

Rashford isn't set to be the only shock call-up on Friday - and Rashford’s Villa team-mate Morgan Rogers is reportedly also in included in Tuchel’s selection.

Rogers made his England debut in November, when he was added to the squad after several injury withdrawals, where he featured in both games during the international break.

Arsenal’s Myles Lewis-Skelly is also set to be included in the squad - and so too is fellow full-back Dan Burn.

Liverpool’s Jarell Quansah is reportedly also in the squad, with The Telegraph reporting Kyle Walker has also made the cut with no room for Jarrad Branthwaite.

Tuchel was named as the new England boss back in October - but he didn't start the role until January 1.

I want to thank the FA, in particular Mark and John, for their trust and I am looking forward to starting our journey together.”
