Chelsea are through to the UEFA Conference League quarterfinals after beating FC Copenhagen 1-0 at Stamford Bridge in the second leg. This meant that we had won 3-1 on aggregate and that our European dreams were still alive. The performance may not have been one of the flashiest, but hey, one 1-0 is good enough.
Victor Osimhen never fails to mention how much of an idol Didier Drogba is to him.
Chelsea next?

Next up is a face-off with Legia Warsaw, who came back from the dead against Molde FK (as it has continued to be with this competition, no lead is safe).
A Gritty Win for Chelsea—Not Pretty, But Effective
This game is going to be hard pressed to get the club’s highlight reel spots in a decade. Chelsea dominated possession and had a couple of half deable chances and finally broke the deadlock with a goal of the persistence than the poetry variety. In knockout football, the only stat that counts is the scoreline.
Chelsea repeatedly pressed Copenhagen who sat deep in defense, until they repeatedly gave up possession, which they eventually did. The Blues may not be whipping teams aside with guns blazing, but their strengths-based strategy is paying off. Survival is the name of the game also when it comes to European football.
Legia Warsaw: An Unexpected but Dangerous Opponent
Chelsea’s next hurdle? A trip to Warsaw on April 10 to face Legia, a team that seems to chafe on chaos. Legia came back from 3-0 down to Molde FK to win the tie. In fact, they even made this comeback while gaining more yellow cards than a reckless driver. Jan Ziółkowski and Artur Jędrzejczyk will miss the first leg as two of their key center-backs will be suspended. Advantage, Chelsea?
However, Legia would be underestimated. The fight and flair for the dramatic is so present with any team that can bounce back from a three-goal deficit. Also, as it happens with UEFA matches, this is away first (thankfully to Tottenham) because of UEFA’s scheduling rules.
