West Ham winger Crysensio Summerville may not return before the start of NEXT season, according to reports.
Claret & Hugh claim that the Dutchman’s decision to refuse an operation means he may not play in any of the Hammers’ remaining fixtures this campaign.
Understandably, fans on X are not best pleased about the situation, with many concerned that Summerville may end up being another failed signing:

How many games could Summerville miss?
If the reporting is accurate, the 23-year-old could end up being sidelined for at least 10 matches in total.
In addition to this weekend’s fixture against Everton, the Irons still have to play Wolves, Bournemouth, Liverpool, Southampton, Brighton, Tottenham, Manchester United, Nottingham Forest and Ipswich Town.
The winger has struggled during his first season at West Ham
On top of his injury problems, Summerville has failed to make an impression when fit following his £25m move from Leeds in August.
After being handed the Championship Player of the Season last year, many supporters had high expectations but his stats this campaign don’t make for good reading.
Summerville has scored just 1 goal and contributed 2 assists in 22 appearances. It should be pointed out, though, that he has only been named in the starting eleven on 10 occasions.
