Spurs scouting 19yr old linked with perhaps as many as 8 top European sides

Southampton’s young star Tyler Dibling continues to shine on the radar of the giant clubs of European football. Despite being only 19 years old, Dibling is attracting attention with his performances in the Premier League, especially from RB Leipzig.

Dibling’s talents have attracted the attention of giants such as RB Leipzig, Manchester United, Chelsea, West Ham, Tottenham, Crystal Palace, Newcastle United, and Aston Villa. Southampton, considering their financial situation, are open to selling the 19-year-old winger for around €35-40 million in the summer transfer window.

Aston Villa and Tottenham Hotspur plan to prioritise Dibling’s transfer to further their youth revolution. Interested clubs believe that the transfer could accelerate if Southampton are relegated.

Southampton plans to extend Dibling’s contract until 2029, but the player is reportedly unhappy with the terms of his new deal.

Spurs under Postecoglou have taken a notable turn in the transfer markets towards youth, and this season in particular, the Australian has fielded a greater number of youth players than ever before. Perhaps this is down to the horrific volume of injuries suffered. Either way, Tottenham are progressing nicely in the Europa League, so something is working.

The Saints kid has certainly caught a good few clubs’ attention, and with Tottenham being arguably better placed when it comes to spending, Aston Villa may find themselves nudged to one side. That said, Tottenham have seriously struggled in the league this term, and the lad himself may be concerned that the ‘project’ in N17 looks too much like hard work.

It’s a difficult one to call, but he certainly fits the bill as far as Tottenham are concerned, and would surely be a great option for Brennan Johnson‘s slot when it came to facing multiple competitions.
