It has not been the news Everton defender Jarrad Branthwaite would have been hoping for from England.
On Friday, it was announced that Branthwaite had not made Thomas Tuchel’s England squad for the upcoming World Cup Qualifiers.
Despite their struggles up front at times this season, Everton have shown their strength in defence once again.
Everton want to hand Branthwaite a new contract after his displays playing alongside the equally impressive James Tarkowski.
However, the 23-year-old has been snubbed once again by the England manager, with Gareth Southgate having previously overlooked him too.
Ahead of the game on the weekend against West Ham United, the Everton media team have issued a supportive message to the defender.

Everton issue Jarrad Branthwaite message after England snub
Branthwaite has shown his ambition in eyeing trophies, but the defender will have had an eye on also doing that at international level.
The 23-year-old has been a big part of one of the Premier League’s toughest defences, who have caused issues for a lot of sides this season.

Following the news to break out of St. George’s Park on Friday, the Everton media team shared a message of support for their centre-back.
With the players training at Finch Farm for the game against the Hammers on Saturday, an image was shared of Branthwaite with a very simple message.
‘JB32💙,’ read the post on X.
With Real Madrid interested in Branthwaite, it seems the only person not impressed with the defender this season may be Tuchel.
There is only one way for Branthwaite to respond and that is by putting in another solid display against David Moyes’ former side.
Newcastle’s Dan Burn earns England call-up over Branthwaite
Adding to the frustration at Finch Farm, Branthwaite saw Newcastle United defender Dan Burn earn his first England call-up ahead of him.
The Newcastle man will be 34-years-old by the time next year’s World Cup kicks off, with Burn clearly not a player for England’s long-term.
Which only adds to the shock of Branthwaite not being viewed as potentially England’s future centre-back.
It was not just Burn, who was a shock selection, Liverpool’s Jarell Quansah also received a surprise selection by the new England boss.
There is one positive to take from all of this and that is Branthwaite will not be at risk of another injury.
