Bournemouth defender Dean Huijsen has admitted Juventus forced him to leave the club last summer and move to the south coast.

Huijsen has been one of the revelations of the season for Bournemouth, slotting perfectly into their defence after signing from Juventus in the summer.
He’s not looked back since, earning rave reviews week after week and plenty of admirers too, with Real Madrid recently said to be keeping an eye on his development.
It’s been a rapid rise for the defender this year and Bournemouth look set to make a healthy profit on a player who only cost them €15.2m in the summer.
His performances this season have certainly led to questions being asked about Juventus’ decision to sell him in the summer, with that appearing to be a poor piece of business on their part in hindsight.
Huijsen certainly wasn’t left impressed by how they handled things, admitting they forced him out of the club despite assurances that wouldn’t happen.
“Maybe,” he answered when asked if they behaved badly.
“I went on loan to Roma, I came back, and I can understand that they wanted to sell me or whatever the club needed last summer, but I arrived on the first day after my summer break, and they told me I had to leave, but that they weren’t going to force me.
“And then yes, they forced me, they made me train alone and things like that. It was a bit ugly, also because I had been there for three years, since the U17s, just wanting a chance with Juve’s first team.
“The truth is football is tough sometimes. I was a little sad, upset… But it is what it is, and it is what it is. If they thought I was a good possibility to make a sale, then I accept it.”
