Leeds United are in action against QPR this weekend as they look to continue their push for promotion from the Championship.
Leeds United come into Saturday’s clash with QPR looking to enter the international break on a high. LUFC are top of the Championship table after defeating Millwall in the week.
The Whites temporarily relinquished top spot as Sheffield United drew on Tuesday, but they regained their lead with a 2-0 home triumph over the Lions.

It has been a fine season for Daniel Farke’s side so far but success will be defined by how the campaign ends. Promotion is a must after last year’s play-off final heartbreak at the hands of Southampton.
As for QPR, they’re firmly in mid-table with little threat of relegation and slim chances of a top six surge. Marti Cifuentes’ men have lost four Championship games in a row.
Speaking to the press earlier this week, Leeds United boss Farke confirmed no new injury worries coming into the QPR tie.
Joe Rothwell is carrying a knee issue but played 87 minutes on Wednesday. He will need managing but there seemed little concern over whether he would be fit for the trip to West London.

Isaac Schmidt has trained after missing the Millwall win through illness and should be back in contention.

Captain and key LUFC player Ethan Ampadu is expected to return from his knee injury after the international break. Max Wober is also on the comeback trail.
Predicted XI
(4-2-3-1)
Meslier; Bogle, Rodon, Struijk, Firpo; Rothwell, Tanaka; James, Aaronson, Solomon; Piroe.

With everyone expected to be fit from the midweek win, expect Farke to go unchanged with his Leeds United starting XI against QPR.
Perhaps a change could come in midfield if Rothwell isn’t fit enough to start two games in a matter of days. That would see Ilia Gruev partner Ao Tanaka, but Farke seemed confident of the loan star’s fitness.
There is room for rotation in attack and players chomping at the bit for an opportunity but the LUFC boss hasn’t been altered much when injuries don’t force their hand.
The likes of Largie Ramazani, Wilfried Gnonto and Mateo Joseph will be out to make an impact from the bench.
