Although Germany is excellent in research, it lags behind countries such as the USA and China when it comes to the utilization of innovations. Too few research results are licensed to companies and start-ups and transferred into innovative products, technologies or services.
The TransferAllianz's so-called _3-Point-Plan Transfer_ includes recommendations on the use of institutional grants “Five percent for transfer & innovation”, on a “Future contract for transfer & innovation” and on a “Future Ministry for Science, Innovation and Digital Affairs”.
By implementing the 3-point plan, the TransferAllianz aims to ensure that Germany plays a leading role in the transfer of innovative ideas from science to application. German scientific institutions have the potential to do this. The task now is to exploit this potential together.
Charité BIH Innovation – the joint technology transfer of Charité and BIH and the TransferAllianz are network partners and engage in professional exchange to jointly discuss current developments in transfer activities in Germany.
