Beto is in the form of his life at Everton but has still been given reason to feel frustrated at Goodison Park.
The 27-year-old has been transformed under David Moyes and has proved to be one of the Toffees’ most important players in recent weeks.
This has come as a surprise after appearing to be so close to departing Merseyside after a failed spell under Sean Dyche in his opening season and a half.
Despite his recent success, the Guinea-Bissau international now has every reason to feel let down with what the Premier League have done.

Beto snubbed by Premier League for Player of the Month
The former Udinese forward was electric during the month of February and as a result, was unsurprisingly nominated for the Player of the Month award.
MORE TOFFEES STORIES
Beto netted five goals across the five league games during the month, which were his only strikes of the season so far in the Premier League.
His influence resulted in the Toffees picking up an excellent nine points which has carried them well-clear of a relegation battle.
The Bissau-Guinean was up for the award against Jean-Philippe Mateta, Yankuba Minteh, Mohamed Salah, Djed Spence and Dominik Szoboszlai.
It could be said that the most deserving of the award was the Evertonian forward but much to his frustration, the award hasn’t gone his way.
Instead, Salah has been handed yet another monthly accolade as the Reds look destined to secure their second Premier League title.
Beto to fume with Premier League snub
It has to be said that Salah put in excellent displays across the month of February which makes him a worthy winner of the award.
Regardless of this, is the performances of the best player in the league for the table-topping side really deserving of the award? Maybe not.
That won’t stop the Goodison Park faithful and their 27-year-old striker feeling as if the decision has gone against them.

Beto Premier League goals in February
It doesn’t necessarily make a difference to the successes of Beto, who has been electric in recent weeks, it would have been nice to see him be recognised for his showings.
