Cowboys Locker Room Picks Sides in Nasty Micah vs. D-Law Feud

There's nothing like a good feud, and the Dallas Cowboys have gotten an absolute doozy.

DeMarcus Lawrence took a parting shot at the Cowboys as he left for the Seattle Seahawks in free agency in an interview with Brian Nemhauser, stating he wouldn't win a Super Bowl with the franchise.

Then Micah Parsons responded calling it "clown (expletive)" and of course, Lawrence responded with "Maybe if you spent less time tweeting and more time winning, I wouldn't have left."

Cue the inferno.

This back-and-forth sent social media into meltdown, with everyone having opinions on it-including several current Cowboys.

Trevon Diggs, in a now-deleted tweet, posted, "Can't go to war with somebody who really be hating you."

Then came DeMarvion Overshown, who posted "COWBOYS vs everybody."

But Chauncey Golston, who just left Dallas for the New York Giants, mocked the "Brotherhood Over Everything'' motto. (Read here.)

Oh my, it's getting interesting now.

But if we are being truthful, it shouldn't have even come to this, with several players taking to social media to defend Micah and the franchise with our own Mike Fisher's "53 brands" talk of the marketing side of the NFL being more of a priority than the football itself.

Now, first-time head coach Brian Schottenheimer's calm offseason has become an inferno that he must control because the famed locker room "brotherhood" doesn't seem to mean too much right now.

Now less than 48 hours after moving from the Cowboys to Seattle, Lawrence appears to be taking a shot at his former employer, and current Cowboys players are taking to social media to support Parsons, which they are well within their rights to do.

It is quite a messy situation, but it has the potential to galvanize the locker room in a way it hasn't been for years. Out with the old and in with the new? Parsons is now the defensive leader of the locker room. Let's see if things change.

But one thing is for sure: Micah has the backing of his teammates on this one.

And Overshown stated, it really is the Cowboys vs. everyone right now.
