Israel envoy to India hosts iftar in Delhi

Israel's Ambassador to India, Reuven Azar, hosted an iftar meal in New Delhi with the participation of some members of the Muslim community. Speaking to ANI news agency he highlighted the importance of Ramadan to Muslims in Israel saying, 'Ramadan is celebrated in the street of cities and cities like Haifa and Jerusalem. 75,000 worshippers are going to the Aqsa Mosque every day, every evening.' He, however, failed to mention Israel's restrictions on Muslim access to Al-Aqsa during Ramadan, and its genocidal campaign in the West Bank where it has razed entire neighbourhoods, displaced Palestinians and banned many from entering Jerusalem to pray at Al-Aqsa during the month of fasting.
