Liverpool will have to battle it out with Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester United for the services of LOSC Lille sensation Ayyoub Bouaddi.
According to a report from Graeme Bailey TBR Football, Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester United are all interested in acquiring the services of Ayyoub Bouaddi. The teenager has been on fire for LOSC Lille, and all four clubs have been scouting him ahead of a potential move.
Ayyoub Bouaddi’s sensational rise at Lille
Bouaddi joined LOSC Lille’s youth setup back in 2021, and he ended up getting promoted to the Ligue 1 club’s first team in the summer of 2023. Despite being just 17, the midfield sensation has 50 appearances for their senior side.
32 of those appearances have come in the ongoing campaign. The teenage sensation has been one of their standout performers, and he has attracted a lot of interest from across Europe. While Ayyoub Bouaddi prefers playing as a central midfielder, he can feature in a defensive as well as an offensive role when needed.
Premier League giants to battle for Bouaddi
The teenager’s impressive rise have put him on the radar of multiple top clubs in England. Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United have all scouted Ayyoub Bouaddi in the ongoing season, and they have received glowing reports.
Having closely monitored his performances, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, and Manchester United are preparing for a summer bidding war. They aim to secure a pre-agreement, as he turns 18 in October and cannot move to England until early 2026.
Arsenal have been keeping a close eye on the 17-year-old for a while now. The Gunners are hugely impressed by him, and they consider the Lille sensation a great option for the long run. Chelsea’s new transfer policy focuses on signing the best young players, and Ayyoub Bouaddi certainly fits the bill. Meanwhile, the Red Devils are looking to freshen things up in midfield.
They want to invest in young stars with massive potential, and the teenager could be a great addition to their squad, which will undergo a major overhaul ahead of next season. Liverpool are preparing to compete with their rivals for the signature of the Lille midfielder.
While the Reds already have plenty of midfield options, they are keen to add more depth. Arne Slot wants reinforcements in the middle of the park, and with Wataru Endo’s future uncertain, securing young talent has become a priority.
While all three clubs are pushing for his signature, LOSC Lille might not want to sanction his departure next summer as they are all set to part with Angel Gomes and Jonathan David on a free transfer upon the expiry of their contract.
