City can step-up their interest in Aina this summer but the case is not same for Liverpool. The Reds will only make a move if Arnold leaves the club. This can give the Sky Blues lead in the race to make an early effort to secure the services of Aina.
Aina was the part of Chelsea academy and also played for their senior team. But, his stay at Stamford Bridge was short-term as he was quickly sold to Torino. He impressed a lot in Serie A which paved his path back to Premier League.
Aina has been with Nottingham Forest since summer 2023. They signed him on free transfer and it has paid very well for the club. He has so far played 51 games for Forest and has put on impressive performances.
