The journalist claims that the La Liga side consider Alexander-Arnold as their “perfect signing” for the summer window and that he is their no.1, no.2 and no.3 option to improve their right-back position next season.

Romano has also added that Real Madrid have already proposed the terms of a potential contract to the Englishman and that his salary has also been discussed internally. The journalist claims that the Spanish giants internally feel that Alexander-Arnold will play for them next season and that is why they’re optimistic on an agreement being reached. It’s also claimed by the journalist that Liverpool are going to continue trying to extend his contract as they want him to stay for the long term.
