The first wave of 2025 NFL free agency has come and gone, and teams are still looking for players to plug into their rosters. Here are the best free agents remaining as of nine a.m. March 14.
Best Free Agents Remaining 2025 NFL Free Agency
Quarterbacks
Aaron Rodgers
Russell Wilson
Jameis Winston
Joe Flacco
Teddy Bridgewater
Drew Lock
Trey Lance
For teams looking for a bridge quarterback or a veteran to compete with, the pickings got slim quickly. Rodgers is still finding himself at the beach, and Wilson is tweeting out cryptic “God is Good” messages, so fairly normal offseason so far. The Pittsburgh Steelers and New York Giants should probably shift their focus to the 2025 NFL Draft.
Best Free Agent Running Backs Available
J.K. Dobbins
Jamaal Williams
Nick Chubb
Kareem Hunt
Dobbins might be the only difference-maker left, and that’s even a stretch. If teams want to add someone who can elevate an offense, the top five running backs in the 2025 NFL Draft should be their focus.
Wide Receivers
Cooper Kupp
Stefon Diggs
Keenan Allen
Diontae Johnson
Amari Cooper
Tyler Lockett
Brandin Cooks
Whether they’re locker room headaches or a little long in the tooth, these are all depth options or WR2s as a best-case scenario.
Tight Ends
Tyler Conklin
Gerald Everett
Nick Vannett
Hayden Hurst
Tight end is already a slim position, and the free agent market reflects that. Everett provides the most juice as a receiver, but Conklin is the best blend of both sure hands and capable blocking.
Best Offensive Lineman Free Agents Remaining
Cam Robinson
Nate Herbig
Ben Cleveland
Tyron Smith
Cody Whitehair
George Fant
The Chicago Bears scooped up most of the interior help, but there are still options here to fill holes on a roster.
Defensive Line
Clelin Ferrell
Charles Omenihu
Raekwon Davis
Jordan Phillips
Jerry Tillery
Isaiahh Loudermilk
If a GM is looking for a run-stopping, nasty defensive lineman, they’re too late. It was already a fairly shallow defensive line free agent class, and there aren’t many options that should excite fans.
Edge Rushers
Kyzir White
Matt Judon
Von Miller
Matt Judon
Azeez Ojulari
With the Khalil Mack signing, the last big name to know went off the board. These are either old mercenaries, or young players who are journeymen for their careers. Kyzir White is the most intriguing piece, as he’s been a team captain and has positional versatility as an off-ball linebacker.
Off Ball Linebackers
C.J. Mosley
Devin White
De’Vondre Campbell
Kwon Alexander
Eric Kendricks
The days of thumping inside linebackers pulling huge markets are over. It’s one of the lowest-paid positions in football, and none of these players are likely to draw a large market if they haven’t already.
Cornerbacks
Rasul Douglas
Kendall Fuller
James Bradberry
Mike Hilton
Jeff Okudah
Asante Samuel Jr.
Once corners lose a step, they lose their job. Most of these guys are over the hump, but still have the instincts to be a fine third corner for a defense that wants to run a ton of zone.
